Drip pack coffee

When traveling, you’ll likely be out and about frequently, leading you to drink plenty of water and visit cafes often. In Japan, cafes are abundant throughout the towns.

While you can certainly enjoy delicious coffee at the local coffee shops, don’t you sometimes wish for a good cup of coffee even after returning to your hotel?

In Japan, there is a product known as drip pack coffee. It consists of a thin paper filter containing ground coffee beans. To make coffee, you simply pour hot water directly into this thin paper filter to drip and brew the coffee.

While there are instant coffees where you just dissolve the powder in hot water, drip coffee offers a rich taste and aroma, making it a very convenient option for enjoying a good cup of coffee in your hotel room.

The thin paper coffee filters are typically individually packaged, which helps keep the coffee grounds from drying out.

This drip coffee is widely available in convenience stores and supermarkets across Japan, so it should be easy to find. It is often sold in sets of 5 to 10 packs.

Most hotels have kettles, so you can easily prepare hot water.

When you feel like having a cup of coffee, having drip pack coffee on hand is very convenient, so I highly recommend it!
